Modest Modern Twist

If you are still apart of the high waisted trend, then girlfriend, you are behind.

The high waisted look is and has been in full throttle for a few years now. I’m over it. Moving onto bigger and better things but wait. You don’t need to get rid of those shorts.. well maybe if you’re still into that trend but news flash. For all my petite gals, myself included, shorts never fit my figure. I have the soccer figure of bigger thighs, small waist and big booty. Unfortunate in some ways but I work with that I have. High wasted shorts are so two years ago, it’s all about the low-rise boyfriend look. I LOVE THIS LOOK. I haven’t seen it around too much, but I am wanting it to make a comeback. With this look all those problems I mentioned earlier are not a problem anymore. This cut is and can be for anyone. This boyfriend waist cut is flattering to your waist line and looks incredibly chic. In my opinion, I favor the distressed look on shorts better because it gives it an edgier BA look, instead of the too put together look. Another reason why I love this cut is; it has a Modest Modern Twist, aka MMT. No more under butt sneak peeks and for my over compulsive cellulite individuals who think they have cellulite and if they do, let me remind you, IT’S OK. Worry no more because these shorts will save your booty, literally, it’s a win win situation.

They have boyfriend pants, t-shirts, and hoodies. I am now welcoming if not already here, the low-rise baggy boyfriend distressed shorts! YAY!

  • These particular shorts are from factorie australia. They are high waisted but purchased them in a larger size to fit my waist. I LOVE THEM!
