Game Changer

From my recent post on my blog and Instagram, which can be found here or well you’re on the blog… I’ve been getting a lot of feedback about my photos and how they are being captured. I’m not surprised. Being involved in the creative industry you cross paths with like-minded people. It’s even more amazing to be around those who encourage you to thrive, bring awareness and push you to pursue what you love; even if it may be uncomfortable.

Well, friends, recently, through mutual friends and patience, I was able to meet a wonderful, sweet and incredibly talented photographer; named Amanda Lee. She is the founder and creator of Pure Lee Photography, which you can find here. I have had the opportunity to shoot with this gal and let me say she is a spunky little one, just like me. But beyond the similarities that make shooting so fun, this gal has a massive heart for others and I mean a massive heart. Every time we are together, it seems as if I am learning something new about this gal and her passions. First off, in her wedding packages, she has stated that a percentage of her earnings goes to a beautiful organization called Mountain Child, you can find more information on that, here. How cool is that? Photography is already such a competitive industry and it’s hard work but this girl still has the heart to give back to a company that she believes in and wants to bring awareness too. Another amazing insight I have been given on is the anti-sex trafficking industry. For a while now, I have known a surface level amount of it information on it but again, Amanda has brought awareness to my eyes about something I too am now passionate about. If you are in the Denver area and are interested in getting involved or even just updating your knowledge, Beloved is a non-profit community for you.

All in all, it’s always a great idea to surround yourself with like-minded people so you each can thrive and grow but also expanding ones knowledge on very important organizations or just what is going on in the world, is massive. Thank you, Amanda, for your heart for others and your talent behind the camera. I am very lucky to have had our path’s cross and I look forward to seeing more of your work!
